    Meanie's Excellent Adventure (22 February)

    Coro Loop anyone ?
Plan is to travel to Ngatea via Taumarunui, eight mile and up the West side of Hamilton Stay in Ngatea on Friday night at a friends place. Lots of room for tents and some great hospitality Ride the Coromandel Loop on Saturday at a nice leisurly pace while enjoying the local cafes and photo ops. Thames again for Saturday night and home Sunday, route still being sorted I will post more details within the next week.
Be a good weekend away with some awesome roads that Mrs Meanie and i rode a while back and enjoyed so much we wanted to do it again, but this time with a little more time to spare
Friday February 22nd leave Ashhurst between 9.30 and home Sunday 24th
If you are having problems getting time off work then you could always make a mad dash up to Ngatea after work friday arvo
Sarah Vet is going to be in Auckland that week and is going to meet us on Friday arvo
This may be postponed if the weather turns to custard
I will make this a calender event when i have finalised all details

We are leaving Ashhurst Mobil at 9.30 Sharp so please be early so you dont miss cowboys impression af a chancey speech
Cost is $20 per person which will cover the cost of breakfast Saturday and Sunday mornings and tea Friday and Saturday nights
This is payable to me please as i have already sent money ahead

I am liking this but a few of my own details will have to fall into place first. How much does a decent two man tent cost?

Tis a Yamahahahaha G. Just thrash it like you stole it. Gixxer 4 ever
It really did look very unloved. Specially as it was next to the R1 that the whole crowd wanted to look at. Gixxer 4 ever

Went on a hunt last night and you can get some quite nice kit for around the $200 and a bit mark but i'll definitely one eye on that offer mate, cheers.
Thought it would'nt be a bad idea to have a small tent, started looking at those Mac Pac tents coz I know they are supposed to be the shit but they are around the $450 plus mark and quite honestly too high a spec for the kind of thing I would want it for.
