So this brought me to think and wonder about: How long have you been with your respective partner / husband or wife? And how has your relationship evolved over the years?
    Congrats!

20th anniversary this year. This from someone who swore he would never get married. Then proposed within 2 weeks of meeting...

... she told me to piss off, of course. Took a few more months to convince her!

Cool guys, one thing sounds corny but tell him or her you love him/her daily.

Was married 25 yrs ago today too,sad that it hit the fan 10 yrs ago lol, mind you after the usual she took I let her have part,we still talk, but 2 great girls can't complain.

But wait it gets betterer, met my loverly one on new years eve 2001,was house sitting for a mate for a week, after new years eve and sober,we both clicked, moved in next day, proposed about 5 days later. Now after crap health problems,me being a couple of months away from a box, recovery and mil and mother having cancer scares,we are still at it.Life is what you make it,we both enjoy our time, going out together and even getting to stage she wants her own pants for the bike, mine too long, not bad for a lady who hated to be pillioned.

Ahhh! So we just had our Pearl anniversary last Oct.! Never thought to look it up.

See my thread, "Our kids are awesome!"

    Congrats on your first year!

After 30 years, I can say that for us we are more in love and happier now than ever, and my wife is hiding her age real well~! I still have the hots for her and the greatest thing in life now, apart from the kids and our Grandson, is that she still loves me and enjoys my company. We're best friends! Now the kids are all grown up and off our hands we have found a common interest in riding together which is truly fun!

We have been together now for almost 6 years, and the other day, my beloved noted that this is the longest relationship he's ever had, which i thought was such a very heartwarming thing to notice.

So this brought me to think and wonder about: How long have you been with your respective partner / husband or wife? And how has your relationship evolved over the years?

I realise each person / situation will be unique, and so would love to see what you guys reckon.
    Congratulations on your first anniversary!

Congrads you two. Chris is my lovable shit of nearly three years holy shit thats brilliant for both of us. It never ceases to amaze me what makes us work (mostly me not complaining about motorbikes me thinks )
Trust and respect, oh and not having to ask each other permission to do what we want to as individuals, that works too.
    Well done guys

Perfection is not something you should ever attain, but something to always strive for. For if we actually achieve our idea of perfection, is it then any longer perfect?

We have, from day 1...we're both conscious tomorrow could be our last day. Not being morbid, just enjoyed every day like we should.

Thanks Annette...you two are very suited to each other in my humble opinion. It's a pleasure to see two people enjoy the same things and each other's company the same way hubby and i do.
