    mmmmm

thinking of this, I will be heading out to Spingfeild on early Sat morning,
Will be latching on to the first decent sized group of bikes that come my way.
As I dont have the budjet that some of you have, so this is the best option for me. So I am sure that me and the Old Exsessive will be trying hard to be there
Got a few maintenance things to do this week comming before the ride, like a new back tyre ( no drunken burnout this trip ) oil change and repaint the exhaust, thanks to a farmers plastice bail wrap!
I really want to have a good time, so will be more open and conversational with you guys since you are now what I think are "good fellows " my confidence in communication with you all is better and I will not feel like a bit of an outsider.
Please remember that although our common denominator is the Bikes there is still the issues of real life some of us have to deal with, I would really love to spend hours on the road riding, a passsion that I have had for 35 years, but there is life outside of two wheels, and it is nessesary for some of us to deal with it.
That said, I have a bottle of Jack to consume Sat night, for those I met at the Stageing post, well, there will be a shot or two in that bottle for you guys and girls.
To be old and wise, first you must be young and stupid.

    Could be a goer Mike
Though you'd probably get bored loafing along with the GPZ, the old girl hasn't got the legs that the ZXR has
I'd be leaving here, fueling up at Rakaia then through the gorge to Sheffield and over hill.
Though in saying that, if a I can't get a couple of jobs done on the GPZ before the week prior I'll put the ZXR into service, but it's supposed to be having a birthday treat at the moment too seeing it ticked over 100000k last weekend

Urm the plan for us, is that we headin Arthers on Sat morn, get there, set up, and head on out for a run around kanere and the gorge for a looksy. And I guess you guys will be in camp just before we re-arrive on site.

That is why the via Reefton is ooout. But must say I love Reefton. But getting frustrated with the place over from Dawsons, that promises "Free Beer tomorrow" Tomorrow never comes, and if/when it does, it's now today.

A total mess I tell ya!!!!

Let us know what you end up doing, no probs either way. If you and TWR are keen and the timing is right wee could catch up at Jacksons?

Yeah it is, quite a challenging piece of road too. Lots of campervans though (or at least there was for us last weekend) and slow tourists.
