Crapola! Glad you kept it rubber side down and at least you learnt a passle load from it ... I should have tapped my brakes to warn you of that corner, but I guess I was too busy negotiating it myself!

See what happens when you get tired!

Much apologies to those behind me. I'll have to organise another ride to pay back the twisties you may have missed.

On the plus side, after a day of non stop cornering your tyres probably needed some squaring off on the motorway

Was a bloody great day out. Thanks Jeaves for taking TEC on the way back so I could have a play up the front. Loved the roads. Great choice GI!

The only downer to my day was being attacked (read attempt to ram me twice) by a cage just now on the way back west. Got his plate and called 111 on his arse. Fingers crossed they caught up to him (or even bothered looking).
Crapola! Sounds like you had my third strike for stupid cagers today! Yeah, I thought everyone had heard me when I said we'd be coming up to the moronway and we would all be flecking off home at that. And yes, there are more twisties, but I gathered everyone was feeling the pinch and needed to have a wee rest (imagine if we met at 6.30am ... oh the routes and roads I could have shown you! )

And no, no-one missed out on any twisties, PirateJafa is my witness that I went on the straight moronway back to my batcave!

Next time my padawans, next time my preccciouuuusssssssss!

Yep that's why I went that way. But then I couldn't see you guys on the motorway. Must've been the ninja camouflage

Totally got the 3rd strike.. Guess after 500km in a day you'd expect to see a few dodgy cages tho. Best back to work event ever.

Yes, I was behind you when you did that, it was right at the end of the ride coming out of our last stop. It was an odd corner, looked like it could be safely taken at 50kph (which felt slow and harmless compared to the open road after a while), but the road surface and camber spat us out to the other side of the corner pretty quickly. I backed off after seeing you run wide. You were pretty upright by then so it was fine.

How many kilometres all up then?

Not enough by my reckoning .. with a 6.30am start you can do 800-900kms in a good riding day by gijoe1313 standards!

Funnily enuff, it seems only I get the sane sense of this!

Remember, by riding with me, you are practicing gijoe1313's patented ironbutt riding bike-fu!

Anytime when you have to fill up at least 5 times in a trip is a good 'un!

I am overwhelmed with a sense of incredulity that you are permitted to be in charge of children.

You need to ease off those drugs man.

Well the judge sentencing me did say "20 years hard labour, 10 years in the army or 5 years as a teacher? What say you?"

I shoulda been in the army so at least I could blow shizzle up!

As it is I always tell my pupils that I'm legally not allowed to be within 100 ft of kids, but the judge said we needed more teachers ... the look on their cherubic faces is gold!
