Nearly every week, I get myself somewhat psyched up into going on the ATNR, and intend to go, but there's always some reason why I don't/can't go.

I'm going to swing by and pick you up on the way there this week.

It's the proverbial (literally), "The road to hell is paved with good intentions".
Nearly every week, I get myself somewhat psyched up into going on the ATNR, and intend to go, but there's always some reason why I don't/can't go. And then there's the ATNR aftermatch bullshit-swapping / grog-swilling function, so sometimes I intend to go to that instead, but that doesn't happen either, probably because (a) it seems a bit lame going to just that, and (b) I've never been much of a socialite, particularly of the bibulous kind.

Oh for cryin' out loud... I don't go every week, actually I haven't been in a few weeks. But I will be there if you turn up!

I'm going to swing by and pick you up on the way there this week.

Find the long stretches of downhill road and nail it - fast as you can. The locals love it and only have the barest warning that you're coming... apart from the pattern of it happening same time, same day every week...

I have $10 that says someone else loses their license before 1/2/08. Anyone want to take me up on it?
