What's the weirdest thing your pet eats?

I ask this question because tonight while preparing dinner a large, chunky piece of roasted red capsicum dropped on the floor by my feet and one one my cats swooped on it and ate it, beating the dog to the prize! This same cat eats the thick end of asparagus stalks (cold and soggy/stringy) - and no, there is no residual butter or salt on them. I thought the asparagus was a one-off event after accidentally dropping some after getting the stalks out of the pot, but no he has eaten it on many occasions since. Any other pets with strange tastes out there?

Yep, used to have a cat called Muddy (RIP) who loved raw mushrooms, and was quite partial to broccoli

Sootie loves pasta.... with anything on, it does not have to be meat!

He once tried Wasabi, but spat it out very quickly!

He will try almost anything once... likes some types of fruit too!

I used to ride a rather vicious Shetland pony that enjoyed the occasional cold saveloy....

our house cat frankie (came with the flat not by choice) eats anything from vegies to the coals from the fire we had the other night..... mind you the vet bill is pretty expensive
I've learnt to hide the pain inside, open the throttle and ride away.

Louis (aged 1) ate dishcloths for the first six months of his life. Little round holes started appearing in my dishcloth, couldn't figure it out. Then one morning it looked like swiss cheese - perfectly round little holes, about 4cm diameter. Now he's got fussy, just nibbles the tea towels occasionally. Likes to eat flies too YuMMY!.... has to fight the goldfish for the priviledge after I've swotted 'em .......

My old cat Salty.. (RIP beautiful boy ) wouldn't eat his weetbix until he had eaten his marmite on toast. He would lick all the marmite off first, then eat the toast.. then he would eat his weetbix.. musta liked them soggy..

That was his routine, every morning!

Come on people, seriously, feed your animals!!!
    Jokes!!
My Dad's old Rotty used to sit at the table with him and share a piece of toast every morning, bloody slobbery mutt!! He was actually quite a good garbage disposal, and a sweety, but you didn't dare say rat or possum in front of him!! RIP Sam.

    >Our first dog once ate a turd that fell out of our daughter's nappy as she walked across the room.
    >Our second dog used to eat perfectly round holes in our double bed sheets and blankets. We'd always know when he'd done it as there'd be pieces of sheet mixed up in his turds on the front lawn.
    >Our cockatiel once tried to eat my finger (bastard!)
    >Our cat seems to eat anything that isn't cat food but seems to prefer brocolli and potatoes (cooked). He will only eat fresh meat if it's warm, not out of the fridge and he turns his nose up at rabbit, however it is presented.
