Yeah been trying to convince the g/f that you Masterville types have some mint roads around there. Head in almost any direction have you one of several different types of cool roads to ride. Tight twisty stuff in Alfredton direction, v-fast sweeper stuff in Wainuioru direction, bendy straightish stuff in Gladstone direction, Princess St, Hill Climb rd... gah! *jealous*

The Hamicad fender was purchased via Ebay. It's a chap in the UK that produces them.

We moved over here just before xmas, all good so far, no complaints, working in Greytown so a short little ride to work n back each day, its great. Any ideas of how to bypass Carterton without loosing too much time?? nothing against carterton just get a bit bored going 50 all the way through there.

I'd be very keen to join a few rides with the locals, when im allowed out that is, at the moment im getting out everynight so id say ill be heading somewhere this evening all going to plan.

I have a BIG bike cos im a BIG person, need to something to haul me around!

By[assing Carterton is a bitch. Theres a river to the East that prevents any convenient/direct-ish detours. The following link shows a fairly popular detour ... although I know it doesn't take you to Greytown. Martinborough is a popular dest on the weekends for the biking masses too.

I bike to work nearly every morning myself but only just out of masterton on the way to carterton. Umm bypass Carterton by going out gladstone way would be the best option, but not the quickest, you would come out at the Southern end of Greytown, but yea like I said... not the quickest way so prob not worth it. (Skelstar might be able to verify that!) (HEEHEE you provided maps Skel!)

Carterton is borning, but pop into Jacobees (pizza and pasta takeaways) in Carterton and meet Michelle and Jens, shes a kber and great to ride with, she would love to meet another motorcycle freak and might give you a discount

Cool, might see you around! Might be going on a ride this weekend with Michelle and co.

And I would like to edit my comment about the roads around here getting borning to me... heehee

If you ever want to hack it up with a sabre saw and a welding torch, I can show you how to get the exhaust up under the seat
