Let it be known. I got you. and there was nothing sneaky about it, And Im just now understanding what exactly I got I do enjoy her bluntness and willingness to speak her her mind in person and on KB very un pc. but I will train her in the ways of the tall poppy when she gets here (just dont tell her!)

Sometimes you do have to be a little sneaky, that is how I got my Kiwi man (just don't tell him)!! I think being too blunt would have had him running for the hills He is used to it now and seems to rather appreciate it.

Asking questions is how we learn and progress so you keep asking those questions and challenging others, you never know they might actually learn something too!!

    Nah, seriously, good on ya!

PC should never get in the way of CS (common sense), and un-PC should never be used simply as an excuse to be rude and obnoxious. Oh, i forgot, lots of people don't actually care about that

    Onya mate.

I recommend a pair of jandals and a spatula with a pink ribbon around it as a welcome-home present.

PC-ness has certainly been taken too far but I wonder at which point one stops using a bit of PC politeness and simply becomes rude and/or ignorant.
Example (maybe a poorly consructed one) : A group of Bikers are enjoying a cold drink at the local bar discussing the state of race relations/land claims/Maori place names/whatever when in walks a couple of Maori dudes. Does the group continue its conversation as they were, with possible racist slurrs or do they adopt a somewhat PC angle and begin to replace words like black & coon etc. with less offensive terms should one of their pigmented brothers overhear the discussion...if you carry on with the conversation unchanged are you simply a racist?
Being 100% 'non PC' can often double for being intollerant, sexist, a dangerous or inconsiderate road user, an ignorant bastard/bitch and racist etc...
A balance of sensible PC understanding (much like common sense really) and sticking up for what yer beleive has got to be better for every one than stubbornly standing firmly in one trench or the other...
