    Pauanui skydive ride (26 January)

    Hey chicks and dicks!
For anyone, who like me, cannot do the Northern Exposure Ride this weekend, I am riding down to Pauanui to jump out of a plane - since last time went tits up. Not literally.

Plan: Leave Caltex on Oteha Valley Road, 9am Saturday am
    Ride to Pauanui
    Have lunch
Jump at 2, and 3 and whatever
Find a laundromat to clean my undies....
find a pub to have a celebratory drink (or 10)
Stay overnight at the Tairua Backpackers
Ride back the next day - perhaps vary the route home for a big longer ride.

Anyone wanting to stay overnight and party up with us, call the Tairua Backpackers and book a room. They provide bedding etc. so dont need to bring anything. Except clean undies!

Wont be back to my computer after about 3 today so give me a ring (02102445877) if ya keen, or just show up! Everyone welcome!

It was too overcast and they didn't go. I have a voucher which I got for my birthday, so don't have a choice in terms of where to go, but, why do you say its not good there. (Do I need to know this???)

    Eh sweetness!!! Been missing you...

Anyway, I'm going up North for the 3 days, so can't come and party but just wanted to say:

You will love it!!! (if that's you're first time, of course)

I gave 007XY a voucher too for a static line jump for his 40th birthday, and of course, the blighter had to upgrade to the "I can do it all by myself, cos I'm so clever" voucher...I'd already been sweating at the static line, but now, there wasn't even taht to protect him

Anyway, all went well. He had a great experience and I was the only one stressing all the while he was making his descent.

enjoy babe, and I hope to catch up with you at some stage soon.

Peter's plane is not perfectly good, it's OK, but it doesn't matter anyway as you'll be jumping out of it! Ask him if he'll do free photos if you jump in your undies Kermit will be ever so nice to you if you do....

    I did it!!

Well folks - I did it.
Pete flew, and I was attached to "good ole Kermit". He was fabulous!! I thought I might shit myself sitting on the edge of that plane tho - those first few seconds were the most terrifying of my ENTIRE life! Then pure exhilaration - It was just the most fun I think you can pack into 6 or 7 minutes! Highly highly highly recommend it - and fully recommend Kermit and his old man too - they were awesome.
Oh ya - and the ride was great as well - primo actually. There will DEFINITELY be a next time!
