I prolly wont get out of Picton til around 11.30 if the boat's on time. How long to Westport? about 3.5 hrs? Means I wont be there till after 3, so prolly not worth waiting for me. No worries, I'll catch up at Hoki.

(Just had a thought - if I run short of time I could come down the inland route and get up on Sat and do a run up the coast rd then. Maybe lunch with the other Chch guys at Reefton...or not..)

The forecast looks ok for the West Coast for the next few days - fine with cloudy periods, afternoon sea breezes, overnight lows around 11deg highs 20-21deg

He's on it, just passed through here, tried to get me to go with him today!
