Hey...! I think I'm cute...!
(But I'm not admitting anything...)
Can I believe the magic of your size... (The Shirelles)
UUmm ah um yeah![]()
I hope you're not including the two in the photo in that remark - neither of them of course had anything to do with this particular conception
I took the bike to a meeting up at Palmerston today - shit did it blow on the way home. Its the first really strong wind I've ridden the Tiger in and I'm really impressed.(maybe because its such a heavy fat bitch??) A couple of times I got hit by blasts which shook me around but the bike pretty well stayed put. Very confidence inspiring. Got my Scottoiler put on this morning which is great to have and got the front wheel balanced which it badly needed - amazing how much better it feels with the wheel sorted, especially downhill under brakes.

Went for a ride out to the end of the peninsula this morning. Windy, but at least most of the tourists were still in bed.

Golly you jokers talk some crap!!! Too much time alone in the woop woops me thinks : "you've been out riding fences for so long now". Took the Ducati to Middlemarch today, by crikey it was hot up there, the tar on the road melting, anyone got any handy hints for riding on it, eg treat it like black ice' and stay off it if you can? Anyone riding tomorrw arvo?
saw 4 girls riding ducatis today at Brighton are they kbrs
Got an email from the Plugz for lugz people - they are coming down to Dunedin on 14th March for a couple of days - they'll be going to the local Ulysses AGM and making the things there and over the weekend.
Anyone a member of the Dunedin Ulysses? - I'd have to admit to being old
These things are meant to be really good and I think I'll get in there and get a set with the MP3 speakers in them.
Silverfern - yes treat it like ice - and if there is a tiny bit of rain on it treat it like seriously slippery ice. Actually its not as slippery as ice but you can still end up moving sideways on it. Generally its just in the car/truck wheel marks so theres usually a line between these which isn't shiny and I always ride that line, even though that might not be the best line for the corner in which case I slow down a bit so I can use it. If you do have to go over the sticky melting shit then just do it using a line that means you don't have too much lean on.

Sounds like a plan. Hope the weather is better than the forecast tonight - looked like just showers, but that's not what I want in central in Feb...
