    Whats the NZ motorcycle land speed record? Surely 313kms must be close

    The record is 307kph.

    But it has to be an average of both directions.

    Malcolm "only" managed 29.......something going East-West -even if it was 299, averaged in both directions it would "only" be 306kph. The road is not likely to meet the gradient requirements either.

    Hi Yall, thanks for the opportunity to show our gears was great to catch up with you all.
    It only took me 5 1/2 hours to get home so was a good trip.

    Sorry didnt stay for prize giving but wanted to get back at a decent hour.

    I will see you all next month at the hillclimb event.

    Must add my thanks to you and the sterling crew Deano. The only complaint I have is that there isn't an "up to 1000cc naked bike" class. I'm going Honda sprocket shopping tomorrow.

    Sounds good to me, am thinking of entering the Hornet next time (not that I will be making it go anywhere near as fast as it can go).
    Yahhh, new sprocket eh!!
