I find this strange too. Maybe the lack of the need to prove their bikes supports Jim2s theory of "female riders, their speed and everything else".
Lately I think that flame, str8, and Maxine (partner of Turbod Haybusa Dean) have been the only females... actually a Woman on a SV1000 was there couple times ago too (and pulled a scary wheelie off the line!)

I doubt that NO2 would have done him any good at all, quite the reverse in fact. It mixes with water (which hydrocarbon burning motors make lots of) to give nitrous acid, which in turn would kill a motor pretty quickly. However N2O on the other hand...............that's another matter entirely. Carries in extra oxygen. Rumoured to be performance enhancing.
I may not be as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I always was.
Big thanks to the Organisers and Marshalls and helpers. Except the time keepers who refused to accept bribes.
I felt for those Marshalls standing in the heat all day. Strewth it was boiling in black leather.
And well done all those Tauranga peps coming all that way. I meet most but DMNTD. I guess that was your KTM Duke that turned up as I was leaving late afternoon?
Special mention to Deano who nearly let himself get run over in the line of duty by that prick in the stationwagon. Next time Dean...bring shorts and jandals man.
Happiness is a means of travel, not a destination
Well we attended for a while in da car (ah sweet aircon) and it was Vickis first visit (she thought it was pretty cool)
What impressed me was the number of quality entries this time out - it looks like this event is growing some legs which is all down to the organisers and their helpers. Well done - fabulous effort.

ps - glad to meet a few new faces and see some old friends
pps - fark it was HOT
Yeah, only two GSXRs I think... it def had a different look to the normal demograph. As I have mentioned before there were more of the 'hypersports bikes' than usual but perhaps is more of an indication of having two previous events this summer. The local/smaller cap bikes have done their thing already.
