I'm sitting on 18500ish since end of Aug 2006.
Waiting for GW555 to find this thread, his bike is about a month older than mine, and at last count was over 55000kms![]()
I finally got my knee down! …and my shoulder …and my pillion’s head.
175,000km -150,000 I've done over the last 7yrs. Have done nothing to the bike except oil every 5,000km. Still goes hard
most of the time the cbr cam chain/gear (whatever?) thingie fails at around 60,000 for the little 250's. Depending on use.
Reactor Online. Sensors Online. Weapons Online. All Systems Nominal.
Im coming up on 28,000 km's on my GSX. I got it at 12,000 from the first owner.
Still mechanically sweet, just got a new chain and sprocket, the only problems ive ever had were replacing a headlight bulb and the neutral light not working when the bikes warmed up, which I still havent sorted.
Other than that ive never regretted buying my GSX.
about 49000, now theres a shatterd con rod in my sump![]()
Just under 5000km for my Hyo....
![]()
you know what that means dingo...
i need to get out riding with you more to get your Km;s up
Aye, was going to put close to another 1000km's on it today, but was crook as last night.... So ended up flagging the Manawatu ride...
Next time....![]()
ooo, bout 19,000![]()
I was under the impression that since CBRs have cam gears instead of a cam chain then they go on forever and don't wear out... As opposed to say zxrs etc where around 50,000k you're looking at a new cam chain which puts a hole in your wallet! Well that's what I heard anyway![]()
ive done 205 kms![]()
22,600km
only 6000 r mine on this bike
Live long and prosper
