The common theme here is that a HONDA will do the big kms.

Oh yeah baby, you can suck on ya gay jokes as they will not be in the workshop.

I'm sitting on 18500ish since end of Aug 2006.

Waiting for GW555 to find this thread, his bike is about a month older than mine, and at last count was over 55000kms
I finally got my knee down! …and my shoulder …and my pillion’s head.

most of the time the cbr cam chain/gear (whatever?) thingie fails at around 60,000 for the little 250's. Depending on use.

Im coming up on 28,000 km's on my GSX. I got it at 12,000 from the first owner.

Still mechanically sweet, just got a new chain and sprocket, the only problems ive ever had were replacing a headlight bulb and the neutral light not working when the bikes warmed up, which I still havent sorted.

Other than that ive never regretted buying my GSX.

I was under the impression that since CBRs have cam gears instead of a cam chain then they go on forever and don't wear out... As opposed to say zxrs etc where around 50,000k you're looking at a new cam chain which puts a hole in your wallet! Well that's what I heard anyway
