how much do you want for a ptt setup with radio for bike to bike? Reason is my partner has just got her license and we need another system for her bike now as when she was on the back of mine, we used to use the mototalkie rider to pillion setup but obviously can't now. She needs the wiring for her helmet headset to plug a radio into and have the PTT button. Do you have one still that you want to offload cheap? Cheers.

Peaceful silence on a Harley? Is the hand flailing because you are trying to signal that the bike has broken down (again) and you are trying to coast to the next layby up ahead so you can pull off the road?

PS - I'm also using the Blueants, find them brilliant but really need to get some windjammers to cut down on the road noise at higher speeds.

In all conscience I couldn't offload the Pinfolds gear. But you're welcome to make an offer for the walkie talkies.

    hmmmmmmm
    All care, no responsibility hitcher.
It is after all, an informed decision on his part (he has one already) and should not reflect on you or your conscience.

Hey Biggles if you are after that sort of system it might be worth having a look at the Blue Ant Gear. Qkkid and Qkchk used theres for the first time over the aniversary weekend trip north and were raving about them. I also know the NingaNanna is serouly considering getting a set when Jacinda gets out on the road.

    Just my 2 cents.

    Back on topic.

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round

Yeh I've thought about it but I've already got my pinfolds in my bike (which is still going strong even after my big off) so I need to have a setup for her that is compatible with that. I may end up getting another pinfolds mototalkie system for her bike as well...so she can listen to music and plug her phone into it etc. Not high on the shopping list but its on there.

The other problem (comment rather) is the blueant system appears to be only with one ear piece which would annoy me. The pinfolds system is stereo (when listening to music) and mono through both earpieces when voice is being transmitted. I honestly have no issue with the pinfolds system and he's a very helpful guy too.

You are all most gravely mislead.

Most of the time, I solo ride and when it comes to a group ride or a long ride with another biker it does come in handy! "I need to pee" "I have an insect argrgghghghghghhhhhhhh...." "watch out for dead possum/shite" "ooh see that pretty dolly bird" etc etc.

Handy for directions "left turn" "right on roundabout" "stop here you plonker"
Yeah this may have helped when E.J, Me and yourself were heading to Albany lol
