Going through the gates, 3 guys dealt with our admission, arm bands, details and payment… somehow the bro in lo thought the guy asked “you been here before”, of course he said “yeah”, in fact the guy asked “have you paid before” … ok so he scored free entry…

I was hating myself as I was having huge indecision issues about where to pitch the tent to avoid the winds. (I am good at, but hate indecision)
With me bro in law in tow, we hooked up with Red Turkey and his wife, sunk a few jugs of beer, and chomped on what was to become a whole cow worth of pies.
(After the pink tent thing where everyone either tripped over or took the piss out of Red Turkey's tent, he bought a new one for this one.... but cover'd his bike )
The day was fine and warm, but as said breezy.
The urinal in the pub was a place where the disorganization was spoken about, and the strange rules about where and what you can drink here there and everywhere. The guy barefoot that had been drinking piss, and was now standing in someone else’s piss in the men’s... That was kinda wrong.

I think not as bigger crowd as at the old site down the road. But not to bad, plenty of ale’s, banter, band noise and jelly.
The wrestling was good, but none of the moves I have seen on the WWE!!!
Once that was all done, it was funny seeing the odd person come a cropper on the spilt jelly until a cordon was put in place.

More drinks and roaming the site for a look-see, talking to the odd face and such, seemed like a few people come in for the day for a drink in the pub…
Good to meet ya trump-lady and have a natter!
The band played and after dark, I think I remember some drizzle fallen, the wet t, (bugger missed the wet jock ) and later the exotic dancers… looked like they were from New Zealand to me???? Is that exotic???
More piss left me trying to dance… (I thought it best not to look)
Back at the tent about 2ish I was in for a power nap, and go again… well me power napped right through till the morn!!! Could not find coffee in the morning… apparently I was told there was someone at the pub boiling a jug for people as they wanted… something about not getting it together with the water boiling thingy.

Ok so it was not the best’est rally, but it wasn’t bad either… a good time was had.

    NEXT-Mokihinui.

at Hororata sucked ass the greedy fucks.Yes the tits and ass was good
but the bands sucked, But I did have a good time caching up with peapel.

Q- nice write up, you better go next year- get your permission slip signed, but for goodness sake delete the damning evidence first.
If you don't attend these rallys they tend to dissapear and you guys will be in the North Island state of 'Nothing Much' to go to.
And perhaps an underwater housing for the camera- I know you can get closer to the action

Hororata Hog Out: I might have a pink tent (new one now green/grey) and cover my bike up to keep my sheep skin seat cover dry which turned out to be a good idea as it pissed down at 6am.This was my second rally, was very disappointed with the organisation, especially with regard to food that was available. Managment at the Pub were very GREEDY holding the monopoly on booze and food!!!! The jelley wrestling was good, but when they came on for the fourth and fifth time, it got a bit boring, could have been more variety with entertainment. The ten foot tall bullet proof SECURITY not allowing people over the bridge with drinks. What was with that?? The Publican's son in the morning boiling a jug to provide ????? people with much needed tea and coffee, what a f---in joke. Had a good time though catching up with people. Hope the next get together is better organised.

Cool - I got 751ft. Oh, and pleased I didn't bother staying at the rally. I've been to it 3 or 4 times at the last site, but it's too close to home so I don't normally bother. The day ride was OK though.

I have been to a few of them as well.
Some were real good and others were just were just full of HD attitude and stereotypes.
Don't think I will be in a hurry to do another after what I have read.

I'm up to 1284ft now, but I haven't got all night to spend chucking bloody pussies about, so that'll do me - I'll just go clean up now.

that sucked big time about the food and alcohol. its more like a money making rally for the pub now. i wasnt going to bother staying with regard to the alcohol policy but then it was easy enough to sneak it in. i want fast food at a rally - not have to wait half an hour after i order something. where were the hotdog caravans etc (the food was damn nice tho). and also i cant complain about the free sausage sizzle - except for the worst hiccups i ever had

i didnt have a problem with security - just doing there job

Here's the Flyer for this years Rally, new owners in the Pub and run in association with the Patriots DFMC so hopefully will be an improvement on last year.
