    Yes but self-inflicted ... the best kind Actually met up with the Welington Cruisy Wednesday Night Ride at the Featherston pub and stayed with them until after dark.

    I've decided I don't much like the hill when it's dark ... at least not until I have a headlight that swivels in the direction of the turn

    You weren't wrong there .... I wasn't going to believ e it until I parked in the garage though. Next goal 800kms without puncture/tyre issues

    Next trip like this needs to be a 2 day affair, no panic about getting back,can expore way more area .
    Still was a great trip was starting to feel it on the way home ,stomach/chest pains, pot bellys and sportbikes dont mix to well.
    Legs hands would cause problems I thought but no.
    Apart from 1 nackered back tyre that over cooked its self all went very well.

    Made sure I had enough gas so I didn't have to stop in Pongyroa this time. I'm sure the people are lovely
