    I got the internals from a K3, but none of the bits fit I did use the springs and the valving shims though. And I was blown away to discover that the srad piston design is waaaayyyy better than the K3......
    yea um It turns out there was nothing really wrong with my front forks.
    They aren't damaged and they are really clean inside.-Must have been the 10 odd oil changes they had.
    Just that everything was set up for a much heavier bike.
    The reason nothing seemed to work was the shim stacks were all wrong and the springs waaay too hard.
    To see a life newly created.To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?

    Yep, no amount of adjuster twiddling will fix 'em if the internals aren't right....
