Only $8k? What's wrong with it?

Actually, come to think of it, I'll be selling my 1999 GSX-R750 SRAD 'X' with Yoshi exhaust and full Ohlins suspension shortly, in your price range.

Shipping from Auckland would be a few hundred bucks, but I'm sure that could be figured in.

That picture isn't your bike though, yours is matt bleck

No disrespect or anything meant towards it, but I'd like something that is pretty standard overall - which means original factory paint scheme too. I don't doubt that your GSXR would be an excellent bike, esp with full Ohlins suspension (nommy)... but yeah. Also, I think a 750 of that calibre might be a teensy bit big of a step for me. The R6 is also pretty borderline.

Black and silver. Best GSX-R colour scheme, IMHO.

No, no. You must buy a motorcycle with instant street cred.

Nonsense, sir! I myself rode safely on that bike for fully three weeks after purchasing it before I highsided and broke bones.

I thought it'd been repainted matt black, and had a picture of a snail on the rear fairing. That's not a factory colour scheme, with original decals etc, is it? Post a pic

While I very much believe that every rider is different, and that what happened to one man in one situation won't necessarily happen to the next in the same situation, this is the type of thing I'm trying to guard against. An NZ250 to a YZF600 / CBR600F is definitely a big step, and probably as large a step as I'm willing to make at this point, whether I've test ridden litrebikes or not... ... living with them is something else entirely.

Comes with black race fairings with a snail on 'em, also black and silver road fairings.

Yes, indeed. I had a CBR600F4 in the carport *sniff* beside the Snail when I bought it and it was a much gentler, lighter, less powerful and all-around more learner-friendly motorcycle.

Oh alright then, 9k. Nah only joking...I got it for a song, planned to only keep 'er for a year, then go back to a twin...but she's an addictive wee beastie & it maybe harder to part with than I thought.
Nothing wrong with her at all, & still stock apart from me getting into the stock muffler & removing the restricting little anal pipe bit that sticks out the end...sounds way better, though not obnoxiously so.
I got her off a mate who was in financial strife & looking to only recoup the cost. If your innerested I will be @ the HAGD on 1st March @ Ruapuna,red/black R6,black leathers, come & say G'Day....though I wont Quit her till I get back from a Norf isl trip mid March....she'll have done approx 25000 by then

Very easy bike to ride the R6, goes real slow when you want to...but'll leave nice black lines out of corners if you want it to,as well...

Thanks, will have to try to remember that, if I still haven't bought another bike by then.

Well... I probably wouldn't object, but it depends who's offering I guess!
