Hi Guys. Can anyone recommend an emergency puncture repair kit (canister). I have a 250VTR so no large tires ti inflate compared to big sports bikes or cruisers.

Do these things actually work? Are they worth the space they take up when not in use?

i have a canister holder which is a hand pump aswell, actually pretty good,, not supposed to be able to use normal co2 canisters in it, but i just pop a 10cent coin in to make it sit right and u can pop em like cherries
pretty good if u need air. imo,
if ur talking about the inflate and fix things, ive never used em
After getting a flat tyre and having nothing with me to fix it I purchased a can of motul tyre repair.
I also got a mini foot pump, Both items live in my tank bag all the time.
Used the tyre repair on the boss's scooter when he got a flat. Worked well enough for him to ride it for a couple of days before going in for a repair.
Handy tip - buy the tyre reapir stuff from Repco rather than a bike shop - it's half the price.

these kits are far better than any aerosol can jobbie, fits under the seat, and the plugs generally last the life of the tyre, have used many times without issue.

I got one of those kits like Nodrod.
Used it once so far.
A mate got a flat out in the middle of nowhere, the repaier was easy as and it got us home (140kms) no sweat.
Thats gotta be worth the $20 I paid for it.
Dunno about a permanent repair though.
Never heard of that claim for these kits.

After a while you realise the pig is enjoying it.
Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated!
