Getting up to bleeding the brakes on me katana and just realized i don't have a bloody clue on how to do itam thinking of getting some braided lines for the front while im at it ,but yes anyone for a step by step instruction for me lol cause its been a long time since automotive class.

If you want braided lines, you must get the ones with the correct numbers on them to get a WOF. Most bike s shops can help you with that, but my question is, why would you want them on a road bike? They make your lever a little stiffer and not much else. (for road use) I won the post classic championship in 06 using standard rubber lines, and racing against bikes that were mostly faster than mine (like a lot faster) I did nearly all my passing on the brakes. IMHO you should spend your money on something that will make a real difference to your riding, like more gas in your tank.![]()
and pop a tube on the end of the nipple to direct the expelled fluid into a catch bottle or something - you dont want that shit going everywhere!!!

not getting them to do with rideing speed etc or increasing my speed, i have had them on all my previous bikes when id brought them and prefer the responsiveness of them and just the general feel aye, plus my bikes current rubber ones were in a crash so its alot cheaper and easier to get braided than oem in my case, and ebay is very nice on the price of braided lines for my bike

well depends on what you're doing it for
if you just wanna flush it out and replace the fluid then, yeah, wait til you can see clean fluid (if you can see a difference) - i found my clutch was v e r y soft one day and when I bled it out the fluid was almost black! was real easy to see when the clean fluid had come through
if you're just bleeding them in case of air in the system then just bleed til there's no bubbles coming out the hose off the nipple

yea wanted to get air out ,think ive done it properly ,air bubbles are no longer coming out and completely flushed out old fluids ,had a ride and brakes are alot better ( brakes hadn't been bled since my accident) will see if i can do it again once my GoodRidge lines come(they are blue to
