    The posh way down?

Princes William and Harry want to undertake a 1,000 mile motorbike ride across Africa.

The idea is understood to have come from Prince Harry to raise money for his charity Sentebale, which help orphans and HIV/Aids victims in Lesotho.

Of course, given the level of security that would be necessary to protect the Princes, there is a strong chance that it would cost more than the trip would generate in income for the charity. The Princes would need at least six protection officers and possibly more depending on a risk assessment – with estimates that the the trip could cost the taxpayer more than £100,000 in security costs.

Nearly one third of Lesotho's people are infected with HIV/Aids and there are around 180,000 orphans in a country of 1.8million.

Might be cheaper to hire stunt doubles (say me and someone ginger) and get the special effects guys to "fix" the faces later. Might need eloqution (think that's the right word but buggered if I know if it's the right spelling) lessions for me too.

Only, to happy to tour Africa on a bike if someone wants to shout me the trip...

You really believe they have the same father?

They have too justify their living expenses to the pommy people, even when Harold was going to serve for the country(good on him),the uproar that he could be kidnapped or killed was deafening.
The defence force should have said no comment about where he would be deployed, until after he returned.

About the only thing their mum did was make aids awareness to the world population.

    No royal

I am not a royal by any stretch of the imagination but I would rather have Diana than that horse-faced home wrecker any day!!

Bloody royals should take a long hard look at the Dutch and Danish royal families who actually work for a living, don't ponse around bleeding thier subjects dry, and who you can respect and admire!!

Too bloody true, they work hehehe.Even the butlers have butlers.

Diana was no saint either, but then why did Charley not marry Caramillo in fiist place,oh yeah mumsie and popsie didn't like her heritage.

Mind you Diana at least touched the kids with aids or other diseases, and looked like she enjoyed the meeting, not feigning for cameras.

Princes raise just £3,000 for charity ride

According to information released about the charity ride across Africa undertaken by princes William and Harry, the pair raised just £3,000 between them – less than the £3,500 average per person recorded by the other 83 participants.

The amount raised by the pair would only cover a small fraction of the estimated £100,000 bill for six members of the Royal Protection Squad who had to accompany the royal pair round the clock on the ride.

After my own heart mate, lets hope the Crumpa Lumpa tribe cop hold of them and they get a large portion of 'Wonga' courtesy of a big tribesman who has a bell end the size of a small African country.
