Ok, so all the staff get to finish work early and have a free feed and beers with the new boss, and the only one losing their job gets to stay and work

No dice! Fortunately I had to get to the bank before it closed

My boss does not think mate that is the problem, he is a neat guy, but is super busy and not that clued up on HR things. I have had a tiny bit of experience in these matters, and have no problem doing what needs to be done. After all, what is the worst they can do? Sack me! ROTFLMAO!!!!

I feel a PM in the making actually, nothing like stirring a bit along the way eh love?

I actually need a date that my employment finishes which I asked for yesterday, perhaps tomorrow it will be revealed. Or perhaps I should say it had better be revealed.

One positive thing I did today though was to contact an employment consultant for a bit of advice. I have talked to her before and found her to be really helpful.

I have been made redundant twice.

Both times it was the best thing that could possibly have happened under the circumstances. Both times it took some time to see that, but it was.

It goes against every bone in my body to take a sick day unless i am sick. I have been an employer too long.

Having said that mind you, I seem to have developed a bit of pain between the shoulder blades and the top of my right shoulder that is a concern (old injury mind) I guess stress would bring these things to the fore.

I am sure a good nights sleep will fix it. As long as I dont see every hour of the clock like I did last night, it will be a good nights sleep.

Oh dear, oh dear! Dr Laava prescribes a 5 day weekend!!! Er..... ummm.....I mean at least one day off with the feet up and using the LEFT arm to administer a soothing tonic. Yes, that type of tonic with whatever makes it slide down proper!

Yea I hear you re sickies, Im from that school to unfortunately, generally dont go to work only if I know I couldnt manage the day, and sometimes thats just emotions out of wack. Ive come to accept that as a valid reason, lack of sleep is a genuine reason in this situation also.

Do you do med certs if I have a crap sleep tonight......LOL

I was so over the night last night! I pissed myself off so badly! I remember my mother in law not being able to sleep, and wandering around the house at night, making cups of tea etc. I told my kids to shoot me if that happened to me!

Gladly I did not make tea, my kids were not home, and Maha man slept through.
