    go for a ride
if she were worth bothering about she'd either already be riding, herself
or WILL be as soon as she can get her mitts on your bike

..... and THEN we are going to be getting a DIFFERENT sort of post from you like
"HOW CAN I GET MY G/F TO CARE AS MUCH ABOUT ME AS SHE DOES ABOUT MY BIKE??!!"

    Must be lucky..

My partner of 6 years, likes bikes as well. She doesn't ride a bike. But will eventually come with me as a pillion, once I have the experience under my belt. But we have a trade off. I can go riding when ever I want, as long as time is spent together as well. Give and take goes a long way in anything I reckon....

Offer her a t-shirt with a picture of your bike on it so she'll feel that she has your attention

If she has any hobby, make sure you do most of your lonely rides when she's busy. If she doesn't, find her one.

Man, you're missing the point. Your bike saved your life. I have enough problem with yearly anniversaries, but 6 months? You must be joking!

Shit, that's the part I always miss.

Well if they're already a lesbo a honda makes them straight, boomer tried to make himself straight but selling a honda and buying a suzuki doesnt change the fact the back pussy virginity is gone from him, it's not quite the same thing.

    Bike vs girlfriend

As the girlfriend of a biker I would always say get yourself a biker chick if possible. I have had the problem the other way round with guys that I have dated not being into bikes and never understanding why I ignore everything (phone, conversations & amourous advances) when bike racing is on and stop to oggle bikes riding past in the middle of conversations and snogging! Bad girlfriend!!

My bloke has a bike and I would never begrudge him spening time practicing stung riding. I love him for his bike passion and respect and support that he wants to get more into stunt riding and this will take up his time, time away from me. I am a bookworm and it is not usually a two person activity so it is swings and round abouts and relationships should be based on give and take, not selfish demands.

And even thought it is Valentines Day here and I should be all mushy- bike passion never fades but women come and go unless you are lucky enough to find one that loves bikes or that is extremely understanding!!

    Just my humble opinion.
We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have you found? The same old fears.
    Wish you were here. QWQ

WTF is this crap about if your woman doesn't like the bike, go find one who does.

Being in a relationship is about compromise and acceptance. Everything else is just an excuse, problem these days is no-one chooses to really work at it, but just dump the problem (its too hard, blah, blah) rather than solve it.

My wife does not like bikes, she has never ridden and has no intention of doing so. I accept that. She likes shopping, I don't. We accept each other for who we are and we are one. We have learnt to understand that we are different for different reasons. You don't need to know why, but to simply understand that you are, and accept it.

If you really care about her, treat her like a lady (they like it) make the effort, buy her flowers (occasionally) and wear the pants.

If she doesn't understand, communicate with her. Never in anger, only in love. I'm sure there are things that she does, that do not include you.

A bike is just a mode of transport, a sport or a hobby - not the be all, end of life. But for some it is what ends their life.

Life is what you make it. Your choice.
    It is what it is
