But also, I think if that's the way she feels she has to act (i.e., controlling her son with what is basically a threat over something that was agreed to be HIS, not HERS) it may be best for his development to be with you. But then again I don't know you either... But as Jrandom says, money isn't everything. It's great to have it, but getting the best for yourself and your son is more important in this case.
