Lis's ZXR is back from the Plastic welding artists at Wanganui Plastic repairs, Thanks Vaughn! And no it wasn't dropped, just needing some attention.
My front end has been returned ready to rock.

    All good so far.

Well I took the bike out for a pre-ride test to paihiatua and spend a fair bit of the ride at around 30km/h due to road works, not fun!!

www.metvuw.com is'nt looking too healthy particularly saturday's looking like a white wash, I dont have any significant wet weather gear so i'll be keeping my eyes peeled on the forcast tomorrow and make a decision thursday night/friday morning.

Doesn't look too bad Sarge. Most of the really wet stuff should pass out to sea to the west, although it may be a little damp with light rain for periods in the Coro, given the easterlies. We may be lucky and miss the worst of it if we're inland at the time tho.

The Daytona's at ANZA getting it's 20 K service so she'll be running sweetly. Got it to work this am and noticed a f.....g nail in the nearly new rear PR2! Shite! Hopefully it'll repair OK and not need a total replacement!

Yeah I was kinda banking on it being a bit more summery like it is RIGHT NOW coz if I get really wet i'm wet for the rest of the trip and I can not afford to get crook just at the moment but like I said earlier i'm not writing it off just yet. I'll see what friday morning bring first.

Bummer about your tyre, believe me I know how that feels. I have a spare 190 section Michelin Road (not Road 2) you are more than welcome to use for the trip which might be a good idea coz if the plug fails on the repair your really screwed (I should'nt imagine it would though), particularly if it's sunday. Or there's a near new Pilot Power 2CT that needs mending....
