    God likes Placebo?

I took my new baby out for a spin today so we could kinda bond.It wasn't going well,a couple of k up the road met my first gravel pit, sorry road repair, had a blustery wind coming off the coast and a cumulous satanicus hovered ominously atop Mount messenger and the twisties I'd set off for.

With rain drops now on my visor,I was beginning to wonder why I fukin bothered, more bloody road works and with the truck spray I was gettin I felt a bit like a duck in a shooting gallery. yeah I know but....

As I cleared the road works my mp3 clicked off Ray Charles and onto Placebos album, the traffic thinned, the sky cleared and I gave my new gsx14 a little bit of head wow, gorgeous silky smooth grunt propelled me towards the hills. My jaw began to ache from the stupid permanent grin my ugly face had adopted. In no time the big hill appeared with it's oh so tight twisties which had only previously been done in my Toyota fun bus and a Harley. swoop we went then swoosh down and round and up like a big dipper ,all done as if on rails, so very very sweet.

stopped for a ciggy and a chat and was then escorted back home by all those Americana motors heading for New Plym, screeching their ,no rubber whatsoever ,tyres round the mountain. A sight to see man and a day to remember...Fanbloodytastic

ps apologies to y'all stuck in your offices etc. aint it great though when it just kinda works out perfect....
    Oh bugger

Placebo is a good choice! makes me ride better to or thrash metal
I've learnt to hide the pain inside, open the throttle and ride away.

To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

I went North after work, had dinner at Mokau. Lovely evening for a ride.

On the way back there was a big group of about twenty bikes all headed north. Harleys sports bikes all sorts???
