    Auckland Newbie (WierNixie)

    New to this forum, and only have 'L' plates.

    Current ride is a Suzuki Intruder 250. Still improving skills all round.

    Have written the first exam, and will be doing the restricted as soon as possible.

    doing my bhs this sunday and learners scratchies as soon as I can figure out where in Pukekohe the AA is. lol
    Off bike shopping tomorrow. Thinking of either a honda Magna 250 or a yamaha Virago 250.
    How you liking the Intruder? I hear its similar to the virago.

    I once read a book called All I needed to know about life I learned in Kindergarten. There is a story there about a mermaid, which resonated with me. I come from a land locked country, so I made up a word for a mermaid in freshwater hence WierNixie - Weir (proper spelling) is a dam, nixie - water sprite.

    I like the intruder, but the foot rests are a little difficult to get used to if you have ridden a bike with the rests in the normal position. Thinking of upgrading once I have passed exams.
