FOR SALE: 89 ZXR400 Racebike

I've gone and bought another toy so this one must now go!

I bought it may this year from GP Honda, previous owner was an older gentleman who took great trouble and expense in tidying it up to go racing, this bike is straight as an arrow and well presented.

Some of the work done is as follows:
New steering head, swingarm bearings
Racetech fork internals
RK Chain
Dyno'd at 60rwhp
Fibreglass fairings w/ quik release fixings
Daytona steering damper
Crash bungs
Comes with spare set of 1/2 worn Pirelli Slicks

It dropped a valve my last meeting I used it and has just come back with new valves and bits and pieces coming to over $2k so some lucky bastard will get a good deal outta this!

The bike is going for $4800 and there are tyre warmers, track stands, and spares to go too so I'm open to a bit of negotiation in that department.

I've seen this bike, and even though snot is a cock, his ZXR would be the perfect bike for anyone looking to give F3 or pre-89 racing a go. It's a very tidy machine

So long as you've got a job, you'd be able to get a bank loan for $4800 in an afternoon. Failing that, you could go to a finance company, they'd give you an unsecured loan in 5 minutes.
The more you have to put towards it the better of course. Perhaps you could sell the NC30?

sell the NC30? yeah right! i need that to get to my job(s) and uni, which is why i can't make it into a track bike for fear of writing it off

being a full time student with two part-time jobs, while i'm sure the bank would dish out i don't think taking the loan out would be a good idea

but if i could somehow get it on the student loan then that's another story
