I like it, but I don't love it. I love my cat more.
If I wrote it off I would be regretful but not devastated.
    It's a machine, not a person.
Well post a pic of your pussy then

I'm with you both there - I think I'm gonna see the 100,000km on my 14. Only 88,000 to go....

On loving bike: I pretty much loved every one I've ridden - so I guess I just love bikes!

Congrads on your milestone Cowboyz! if it doesn't happen tomorrow, it'll be next week eh?

It wasnt love at 1st sight for me,but its love now for sure....I wasnt looking for a new one but she sort of fell into my lap & was cheap & she's been giving me my jollies ever since. Before she arrived, I was kinda bored with the old girl, couldnt get it up enough to want to ride her much & when I did I just had to keep thrashin' her to get her to perform & then I always felt unfulfilled afterwards....
Not so now!! I pamper the new one, spend lots on her as she likes to drink, make sure she's always freshly lubed & she likes high quality rubber goods.Myself, well I discovered that I like expensive black leather & we count down the days to when we can meet up with others of the same 'bent' @ Ruapuna & get into some serious flogging

Of course I love my bike...

I loved the last one too, but part of the reason for selling was that I would be devasted if I crashed it, as I had spent too much time and money on her.

Perhaps it's that magic fourteen hundred cubic centimetre displacement figure that's doing it for us?

My sole bother with Betty is the knowledge that by the time she's worn out, Suzuki won't still be making GSX1400s, so I won't be able to replace her with another one.

Yip, I to will be scouring the press for news of the new GSX1600,Please lord.
    Oh bugger

I love my gixer. Love in this context isn't like loving ice cream, it's more like that obsessive sick sort of love. I've ridden new bikes (K3 - 7, CBR1000, Aprillia RSV's etc etc), and I always get on my scoot and breathe a sigh of relief - old friend. She is more expensive than a beautiful bitch mistress to live with. She's rasty and horrid on bad gas.

We may be disfunctional (well, I am), she may be the one who does all the work out on the road - but, somehow it all fits together just right.

Don't even get me started on my CBX1000. It's beyond obsessive and sick...
It’s diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; it’s life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.

yea gotta love me katana ,my first fully faired bike , first bike i did 600kms plus in a day on ,and sadly first bike i crashed on

well it certainly tests your love for it when you got to pay thousands of dollars on oem parts but its worth it when you finally get to ride it again !

heres the beast! shes on her second set of fairings but at least it was only plastics.

1st pic : in her original form
3rd pic : re-incarnation of the kat, after her midlife crisis (still in construction)
