Cheap Auckland motel/hotel?

Hi All

Anyone of you KBers know of some nice and cheap places from Manukau City to North Shore

Price range $60-$120

Any recommendations

i live in auckland mate and it would not be very romantic staying downstairs in someones house

I applaude you Big Dan.
I have only stayed in one Motel on the north shore, and it was across from the hospital on Shakespare rd, i was having ana eye operation at the time, just a short (unromantic) stroll down the road. Good luck mate.

Nice one on Lincoln road opposite the hospital. They have nice rooms and pool and spa.. pretty clean too. About $65 a night from memory.

Cant remember the name, just that it has a big sign saying "sky tv" on it!

Hotel Formule1 right in the CBD is cheap ($70?) and modern, comfortable. Rooms are cramped, but a damn sight better than what else is available under $100. Book through wotif. Here's a link, got photos: http://www.wotif.com/hotel/View?hote...1&viewType=all

More along the lines of a nice romantic evening for my lovely lady and myself i thought i'd treat her to dinner and among other things

so any further ideas would be muchly appricated and rewarded
