Nope, not on I am sorry! You start a thread like this, and get all these peeps on tenterhooks and then say "ask the cheese makers" or for the pedants among us "those guys who make the cheese" ?

So did ya talk to her? Did ya work the Steam charm?

    Come on, spill the beans!

And doing physics, a brainy-type too.

She smiled at me as I walked by in my bike jacket, I smiled back, Hi.
I thought to myself "wow, wonder why that nice-looking girl smiled at me like that?"

Then as the lecture ended OH MY GOODNESS she put on her Dri-rider jacket, got out her helmet and PERFECTION! She's a biker too!
So I had to talk to her, and she even rides the same kind of bike as me!

I'll give her a flyer to Off the Rails, and see if she wants to go for a ride some day.

    All right, all right!

Sat beside her in class yesterday, her name's Kim, she is friendly.
We chatted about what she's doing at uni, what I'm doing at uni, and where the best place is to park.
An encouraging sign is that she turned to look at me several times, even though she had to face directly away from the lecturer to do so. Hmm... maybe she was looking at someone behind me, maybe she was trying to memorise my ruggedly handsome features.

I will sit beside her next week again, and I will ask about how she got into biking, maybe on a farm? and how she likes her bike.

But there's also this cute Bulgarian exchange student studying maths who I met at the tramping club the other day... gorgeous accent.

+1, more chance of her sticking around as well.

Eastern european chicks are pretty hot! Besides she might not hang around if you catch my drift - that's a ticket out, either of New Zealand or an awkward relationship...

Don't force any of the relationships - see what happens and then you can always focus later
Unless you're smitten by one of them, in which case you should act NOW!

    You are so not joking.

We all know that if she gets an account she'll be referred here immediately.
Who, me? I just wander from thread to thread.

Oh good greif Steam... Stop being such a pussy. Just ask the girl out before she realises how much you love your bike.
Oh and to the poster with the wedding cake joke... you need to get out more, some of us 30 somethings have been married for 15+ years and still do it more often than you.

Stop being so wilty, time to ask if she'd like to catch a movie or dinner sometime! Jeez where's the sweeping in romance these days! Trust your gut (as well as other appendage/s).

She might meet someone more interesting between now and next class together - why not live a bit.

    Good luck with the romance
