It looks like we might try to do a 2-dayer out of it so that it's a rally of sorts so we're looking for dirt cheap sleepingbag-on-the-floor accomm for Saturday night. Dingoz is looking at that.

Now I'm off to track down the guy who wants to do Gentle Annie on the same weekend

I will be camping with a couple of friends at the Mangahuia camping (next to tongariro Nat. park). It is a very nice place to stay. There is a toilet and running water. No showers, but there is a fantastic stream to swim in the morning before riding. It is a Department of Conservation Campsite, so it is only $4 a night. You are wellcome to stay there with me and my friends.

On the accommodation front, we've got some cabins at the Great Lakes Holiday Park at a cost of $21 per person so just keep in touch on the ride's thread and plonk your name in the calendar post so we know if we need to book another cabin
