Yea I shouldn't be riding it - still havent replaced the shock or the broken indicator - went anticlockwise around the lower Waikato, only had to turn left so didn't need the right hand indicator. Too wet to give it heaps so the poor condition of the rear shock wasn't so much of an issue.

And if I'd crashed in the wet and horrible weather on Saturday, I'm sure one of you fine people would gladly of come to my aid.
As I would for all of you.

P.S - got a ticket yesterday for 65 in a 50 zone, the cop admits I was only 100 meters away from going into a 70 zone, but 50 still means 50 he said. $80

Don't ya just love how they stick to the letter of the law

"gee ur not from around here are you officer ?" "no." "I didnt't think so, coz our local cop doesn't pick fights and make enemies like this coz he has to live here and work with the community."

Just a wee bit of social engineering to make his day brighter.

    Hey guys...

Im guna give organising a ride another go. I have spoken to a few other guys and sat down with a map..

Basically it'l be backroads down to Rotorua via mangakino etc thru to tauranga (back way again) and over kaimais thru to hamilton...

Exact route has been removed... I have been told that some bad people out there with radar guns may target us??? I dont know why?

It'l be a great ride weather permitting.
    **** All bikes / riders welcome ****

You sound like a keen started for the Rusty Nuts 'Grand Challenge', 3rd weekend in October. 800 miles of wet in less than a day - dampness doesnt come near to
    describing it
And Jamie, I am in for this weekend after all.
