    Street fightered 1098.

I made a joke of doing this to a mates bike so she wouldn't need to sell it, but now the idea sounds really fuckin cool to me.

So stand up geeks and photoshop some ideas together, since I cant find any in google images.

My mind pictures it with the lower fairing still on and topped off to incorperate air intakes. Riser bars, barend mirrors with indicators in em, twelve bar built into some uber strong mufflers.

Hope I win lotto tonight, cos KTL have a 1098R on the water and at a STUPID price. That would be the ultimate!

The air cooled engine probably doesn't quite compare with the 1098 though. I'm thinking an S4RS look with the 1098 motor. How cool would that be?!

Supermotard is the wheezy old twovalve/air-cooled motor, not the ball tearing 1098R. 90 HP Vs 160HP.

No way man, that's a bolt in conversion basically. I still want the geometry of a 1098 for going round corners and stuff.

    Serious question here--drew--WHY?
Wouldn't a tard geometry work better in that situation.

Shit NO, remember how much power we're dealing with here. You ride that through the front of a tard and it's time to go have a lye down in the scenery.

Makes it that much cooler I reckon. Especially to do it to one that hadn't even been started yet.

Be fun while it lasted though!

Personally, if Ducati bring out a Monster with the 1098 motor, I'll be very tempted to flog a kidney and get one.

Personally, I don't like the look of the monster, although the tuono is one ugly MF I still think it has a better layout.

That 1098 in the mag looks sweet.

Fair enough. I love the retro lines of the S4R and S4RS myself but variety is the spice of life i suppose.

Drew, i'm sending out some good vibes for you to win lotto, although I reckon if you do scoop the big one ya owe me about 100k! (or a beer or 2)

I went out and test rode a 1098 today and when I got back I was told that they maybe bringing a nekkid one out in the next year. Not a Monster as such but a genuine nekkid.

Yeah, but it'll be tuned down and tame like everyone elses nekkid item. I want it to go the bizzo as well as look odd, (read ugly as fuck, yet strangely attractive).
