pledge goes on all greasy then you buff it with a clean bit of cloth and it leaves no residue at all. Buffs off quite easily too. Do inside and out you'd be supprised how much snotty stuff you get on the inside.

Pledge comes in an aerosol can or the trigger spray bottles (and that answers the question of that person asking about taking pledge away with him, as the trigger spray bottles contents are liquid, so just pop it in a smaller container)

From my experience with the aerosol can, it doesn't leave any visible residue but you will find your visor will have a thin film of coating after you've wiped it.

I think it's that coating that lets the rain bead off the visor but like I said, no residue at all and if you're pissed off at the thin coat film you can always rub it away.

Btw, I only use Microfibre cloth on my visor and never use that cloth other than cleaning my visor.

    Yet to try Rainex.

Nikwax has a product called VisorProof and it does wonders at making the water bead. But it doesn't last long esp. if you are washing bugs off the visor.

I've tried Rainex when I was caught out with no vision 'cause the rain wasn't beading. It works just as well but I've read and it says on the bottle not to use on plastics.

yeah i know the rainx isnt to good on plastic

but its not for the water i want to know

Its just the wipe it on ,and it goes all smeary,
but when you buff it off its looking great but not all the smeary stuff has gone ,
    you still see it
so what im wondering is if the pledge is actually easyier to remove or not in comparison
