yeah, im stuck with a 31cc weedeater and a similar sized lawnmower

wondering if i can somehow get some USDs on there to speed up the mowing, etc

fucking nice day for a ride....typical

VFR rear rim is being repaired next week as the chunk thats missing could fail a wof and im not interested in having to pull it all apart again after putting it back together
front brakes are the final hurdle, should have them back on next week, fingers crossed they do the job

bloody spectacular day for a ride....stinking hot in palmy

started with the main weeds, there was a lot of clover behind the bushes in the front garden and quite a lot across trhe back fence...after pulling all that out, i trimmed a few bushes, there was a couple of coprosmas that were getting away on me and the pandorea always runs rampant

did the rounds with the wheelbarrow ('05 Bunnings 30lt) picking up all the leftovers, then i could finally unleash the mighty 31.5cc 2-stroke line trimmer

was running low on gas so i knew it had to be a relatively quick run (pity i didnt have dogs cam on board, this was some fiendish trimming). ripped thru the back fence in brutal fashion, then did the easy stuff along the concrete edges. finally i decided it was time to tackle the garden edges. these have been neglected for a week or two so were in bad shape, i attacked with tight lines and a 'no mercy' attitude...i knew this would require some clean-up afterwards but it was worth it to get rid of those especially in-grown weeds. dust and garden crap was flying in all directions but the end result was top notch

finished it off with a comprehensive mow that just set it off beautifully, the sun was ripping in at this point but i knew this would make or break the final result and mrs yod had stashed some radlers in the freezer ready for me when finished

a good days work in the garden

Try roundup, not greenie friendly but bloody good though,or invite them Manawatu guys round for a few bevvies, lock the wc and let nature take it's course.

Did the same here as well with the weedeater heap of crap, got sick of winding the nylon, next time will use a blade, real trimming ala tool time.

If the old fella and I finish getting the posts for the extra yard on the cattle yards I might just join you.
Had a pretty nice ride yesterday, Bones2 on his Bandit and his mate on a Trumpy Sprint ST 1050 virtually brand new like...
