Yep, we're OK, I did a bit of a kung fu roll down the hill but was more worried about the crunch I heard as the bike hit the ground. Scraped the back of my helmet a bit but nothing to speak of. Sarah just fell over, she's fine too.

Getting it into ANZA tomorrow for the assessment and I'll bodge it up later. Watch this space for a 'new arrival' soon

hmmm wonder if that is to do with the conversation a few weeks ago after superbikes

any drop/crash you get up & walk away from is all good .. bikes can be fixed alot easier than ppl

An extremely tidy 600cc Bandit for sale at PT's very low milage too. Be worth taking that for a ride I reckon.

Well if you're talking 1250, that opens up a lot wider scope to look at.
Pretty sure that they don't have any 1200's in at the moment, just the 600 and new 650's and 1250's.

hmm but only on that type of bike ..

I have had a think about wot kinda bike will suit my needs, & a sports bike is not the way I wanna head ..

still learning so if i go bigger I will be backing off the pace & getting to feel the bike for quite some time so smaller group rides will be on the cards

but hey no rush may get winter outta the way first ..

Went for a ride with the Napier crew on Saturday, phew that was a pretty fast paced ride I have to say, R-Dog and a young fulla who's handle i'm not sure of rode a pretty mean pace but they were doing it easy, paid particular attention to R-Dog on a section when we were on the return trip when I got the chance to get near them (only coz they would get caught up behind the odd car) and it looked to me like he was just phoning it in!
But my point is we did the road to Wairoa and R-Dog was videoing it but it kept turning off on him so I don't think he got too much footage which is a shame.
I think you should set aside a day (maybe Easter weekend?) go up there and video on that road coz it's absolutely premium as i'm sure you're probably aware. Even if you guys don't I might do it that weekend if it's fine and go all the way to Gisborne as i've never been there.
