    2008 Hyosung

Post here if you have info on new Hyo's.

So far this is what I have:
    http://www.cycletrader.com/find/list...T250R-89679942

100MPH, 106 MPG, two year limited warranty - unlimited kilometres

Not entirely convinced that the above bike is a 2008 model since I cannot see 2008's here: http://www.hyosung.com.au/Products.html
    or here: http://www.hyosung.com.au/News.html

[edit] Looks like the new line up will include a 1200 cc model:

    2008 Hyo's

    Two tone paint work
    6 speed box
    Fuel Injection
    250's and 650's only
Not heard anything regarding a 1200 version

I have a 2008 Preview model. Only difference between the 07's and 08's are the above......still going to have all the same regular features

Close to 2008, but it was actually late 2007.

The '08 models here aren't Fuel Injected, they still have Carby's.
The FI models went to Australia, but not here, the '09 should be Fuel Injected.

Sorry Bik3r, but that's an '07, it may have been registered in '08 though, the '08 models have two-tone fairings.

Was tempted, but preferred to stay with a standard recognised Jap brand. They haven't been out long enough to find out how good they are from a long term perspective.

Good looking bikes plus pretty good write-ups.

Maybe not in NZ but Hyosung was the official motorcycle of the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, and Hyo started 30 years ago.

Yes, I do see what you are saying. I looked at the 650 Cruiser. Nice bike, but was put off by silly things like a rear Drum brake rather than a disc. I also thought that the Boulevard was worth paying a little more for. Didn't buy either in the end.

You sure about the drum brake? None of the reviews or specs mention this. See:
    http://www.bikez.com/motorcycles/hyo...uiser_2007.php

If there is little difference in price, I can understand wanting to go for a Boulevard since they have greater brand recognition.

Yeah, 'tiz... but as you say imported and reg'd 08... I got one of the last lost of solid colours to be imported. I don't like the two-tone colours as much.

Will be released in 09, but will be 08 versions. NZ is two years behind on the distribution list. Nz might not even see them until 2010. If at all

Not all of the 08 models are two toned. Is an option. They will still have the solid colours as well.
