    Late 70s XL250

My son has one of these he wants to get rid of. Uncertain of the year but its a twin shock, drum brake model. Engine runs well, lights and speedo not there. Needs chain and sprockets. Bike is in Upper Hutt.
    Call scott on 021 211 3801.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

Sorry don't know - would engine or frame number help? If so I'll go and have a look tomorrow, and also get a bit more detail on whats there and whats not.

FWIW the frame number is C250S-50265?2 if that helps date it.

Needs a fair bit of TLC, cables, brake shoes as well as aforementioned chain and sprockets, lights and instruments. Tank is pretty good, one dent, has original (faded) paint and decals. Seat might be salvageable with a recover. Both side panels ok, exhaust pipes good, has cycleworks muffler
