ARRRRGH what is up with cops. going up to auckland yesterday get clocked at 113 on a huge straight out of matamata and fined. COME ON!!! there was NOBODY around. Ok i was speeding, but come on!![]()
Does feel like nothing other than revenue collecting in this sort of situation doesnt it. A warning would have sufficed, and probably had more effect. At least after a warning one goes 'whew, that was lucky, better slow down', but after a bullshit ticket one tends to go 'fuck the revenue collecting bastards' and twists the throttle.

They still have discression though dont they? I got a warning last year for 104 in an 80ks zone, guess I had nice cops and I dealt with them the right way, which can be a bit of a lottery I think on both counts.
Often doesnt matter how nice you are, still get a ticket. I guess its seems that the inconsistancy is just as frustrating.
