The fact that you have godlike riding skillz does not change the fact that compared to, say, Pilot Power 2CTs or Sport Attacks, BT014s are plastic rim protectors.

You wouldn't be on Bridgestones if you were racing and the seconds counted. End of story.

What are the chances of putting my video camera on while he's riding so we can see his corner speeds and also get to watch it over and over again?

Ahh crap now I'm getting tyre envy. OEM BT015's here. The front was a little slippery when I was pushing it last time but I wonder if that was suspension/pressure/line.

Been starting to think ditching them for some better tyres before next week even though they have ~1500km left (at current wear rate) would be a good idea. Especially if I burn a few hundy km this weekend and then ride down to Taupo.

Only thing is I didn't really want nice new track tyres heading into the rainy season.

That and I didn't want to be the guy starting another "what tyres thread"

Get in touch with HDTboy and see if he can source you a pair of Conti RaceAttacks.

You'll fall in love and never go back.

Edit: But that's only for sunny days on a racetrack. If you want a general tyre recommendation, you simply cannot go past the Metzeler Sportec M3s.

Or the bridgestone they have a new one out called the 016 apparently very good but they check the size of your balls first

Am I the only one who thinks it's a bit odd that Bridgestone have had to revise their 'sport road' tyre (to the extent of actually renaming it) five times within not much more than five years?
