Anyone have a spare Hyo Clutch cable????????

Was out for a quick ride today and felt part of my cable "give", looks like a few strands have gone so wont be long before it snaps completely.

Seeing the bike is my only form of transport for work I will need to replace it by Tuesday.

Does anyone have a spare one which I can buy off of them or replace it week when the bike shops open?

    Please help

I have had this happen often on all the Hondas I have owned.

From the 82 Xr to the 05 CBR it seemed to happen ...... NOT

Does anyone know if Red Baron or Mt Eden are open tomorrow so I can buy a cable?

Just took it off and its holding on by two strands right at the T to hook in to the handle

Hmmm, haven't managed to snap mine yet.
How long do these things normally last?
I finally got my knee down! …and my shoulder …and my pillion’s head.

First one snapped at 10,000km about 50mm from the handle.

Second one 9,000km snapped right at the end of the cable where it connects to the handle

Found an awesome guy called Warren who works from home, fixed it in 10 minutes and only charged $10 to attach a new tit on the cable.

Also big thanks to Crashe who came and got my cable to take to Warren seeing I was house bound with no transport and baby sitting 4 kids for various people for the school holiday

Yes Warren has been doing a great job out west for years. Doesn't advertise as he doesn't need to.

Hmmmm, I'm up over the 20000km mark now on the first cable.
Maybe I should buy a spare and keep it with the bike.

Yup have a cable luber but probably wouldn't have helped where it broke this time.

This is not the Virgin Muffler's Warren we're talking about are we?

If you are, he's a very awesome person indeed!
