Got some stink news this morning.
Friends from the UK rang to say that Doc, whom most of you (& some of the Tga lot too) have met, collapsed & died while out running with a mate.
We're gutted, needless to say.
Regardless of our 30odd year age-gap, we all got along superb!
His was a youthful spirit, with a contagious enthusiasm.
He was already planning his trip back next year, his 4th; he was going to rail & cycle around NZ this time. Crazy. (in a nice way).

Mate I have just read this and that is absolutely shit news.
My sympathies to you & Tash. I know you will be feeling it.
I remember the 1st time I met him...the trip to Kawhia! He was a gem of a guy.
