Am keen to do the tour over the long weekend. Any indication of numbers (riders) and costs?

Last three day tour we did was 14 ppl and some couldnt come so this one I'm thinking about 20 people. rough estimate.

Cost - 25bux per person per night for accomodation so that 50 bux there. about 50 - 60 bux for food ( depends on how much you eat.
Petrol you have to calculate yourself depending on your fuel consumption but I will tell you that for the distance that we will be covering for the three days - about 1400km I will need no more than $150.

That means you should take at least $400 to be sure you are covered for unexpected events. Also take some extra cash with you because sometimes the plastic cards dont work everywhere.

Look forward to seeing you on the tour. Dont forget to sign up on the calendar event coz thats what we will be using for booking the accomodation.

It's another 20k stretch of heavy gravel to the East Cape light house if we're gonna go to the lighthouse?

It's pretty much exactly the same as Cape Reinga, cept lot twistier roads.

[Edit2] And Steven, I just checked me tyres again yesterday. The rear is damn near a slick! I only checked it a couple of weeks before and it was all good.. Will need a new one before this tour. It's probably why I locked the rear at the one lane bridge..

He told me he (GTR car) could do 11.4 sec 1/4 mile run

I checked on GT4 (PS2 game) and the car needed around 500hp to do so!
