Sure does.... periods where he's a bastard - and the rest of the time when he's just a little cunt.

I know KB isn't a "life sentence" and that people have their own reasons for joining up and contributing in the first place. But it just saddens me when people who make a genuine positive contribution get it thrown back in their faces. That just makes me sad and feel like something really special has been lost.
I agree Hitcher. Time the mods left these people alone

Dude, really, a big dose of HTFU is what most of these MIA's need

That may well be the case Hitcher. But, surely if they're that keen to 'help', they should be able to simply ignore the shit that often gets flung about?

Yes but... no. Some adults are cut out to be kindy teachers... most aren't.

Good lord, man. Did you actually type that?

I haven't known any of the mia's but i can say its an obvious trait of people to break or damage things they wont get punished for and a common rule that the kind hearted and generous get bleed dry by people who don't care.

the old saying: "no good deed goes unpunished"

People are weird, and the first thing that springs to mind was the cage driver who recently had to do 70km/h and drive up on the median and over the middle of a round-about to get past me, he drove past me swearing and shaking his fist and here i was all a wonder what was wrong with doing 60 in a 50? only thing i could put my finger on was that perhaps my being on 2 wheels had something to do with it.

Paul was/is a great guy I agree. In the early days he even led some of our rides on his Guzzi.

What I could never fathom was what was bugging him a lot of the time because I thought we did all show respect so who were the buggers that didn't? What has he done now has he had his account totally closed or something?

I guess we can at least say well we are still here.
    Cheers

No different than real life relationships like marriages I reckon, some last some don't but in all cases it requires work from all parties including respect and compromise.

If those that have left are so fantastic they would not have walked out no matter how rough the going got, and here its only the internet for chrissake, not a real marriage.
    Cheers

Has it occured to anyone that perhaps one of the reasons people stop spending so much time on KB is because of a change of life circumstances? The crap that can and does happen on here is nothing to get bent out of shape about really.

KB caters for a wide range of motorcycle genres. You dont have to partake in the shits and giggles if you dont want to. I would hope that I would still maintain contact and friendships with people even if I was no longer posting on KB for whatever reason.

If I stop posting it will be because it is right for me to, no matter the reason.

If people are leaving here because they are tired of some of the goings on as has been suggested, it must have been the right decision for them. KB will continue, surely it should not change to retain members that dont like being here?

I wonder what the responses would have been like had Katman put this thread up and not Hitcher?

    But he wouldn't have....
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
