    Technically speaking, I could enter F1 on a GSX1400, couldn't I?

What does VMCC generally do if one's qualifying times are about 20 seconds off the pace?

If this is a serious question... Especially in a class like F1, if someone was so far off the pace as to be dangerous we would endeavour to fit them into clubmans. Sometimes the figure of 115% within top qualifying time can be used. Don't quote me on this though, I'm not to flash on this aspect of our meetings.

I know what you mean but it is the reality of trying to offer variety (Taupo track, two day meeting, Manfield long circuit) and the increased costs involved in this. Some of the costs are a result of more effort being made to look after volunteers. Taupo and the 2 day meeting require over-night accommodation for some of the volunteers. We are also needing to cover some of the other costs for volunteers more effectively.
Trust me we are not getting rich out of this and all our processes are transparent. Motorsport is expensive.

Yes, that's as I imagined it.

It's not a serious question, really. I won't ever actually be racing on Betty (that's just crazy talk, unless MNZ, Vic or AMCC see fit to start some sort of 'open whale' racing class) and while I did have vague ideas of taking the Snail out in Clubmans during the winter series this year, I've just gone and sold it, so if I ever get out and race it'll be in 2009 at the earliest, and on some bike I don't own yet.

Good that the volunteers will be looked after. I certainly don't mind paying a little extra for that.

Is the $390 series entry for all 6 rounds? Or for 5 rounds plus you pay $100 for round 5?
