I worked as an engineering teacher for twenty years and went on to become a teacher of 'hard' crafts. Metal welded sculpture, lost wax casting, enamalling, bone carving,and a host of other crafts. My classes were restricted to 15 pupils seven boys eight girls. My point is that in nearly every respect the girls were better than the boys. Their manual skills, their ability to reason and think creativly, their commitment in almost every way the females were best. In my rifle shooting and air pistol clubs the girls teams nearly always beat the boys.
