Well alright, seeing as you useless buggers are too rubbish topost anything constructive i'll do it myself.

Just last weekend i've got myself a new rear tyre, a new abttery (no bump starting for me!) and a new pair of boots ofr this ride. I've also got a pair of Alpine Star SP-1's coming in this Friday and a new Helmet coming in on the Saturday so I should be pretty sorted for this ride I reckon.

The new tyre makes a huge difference..

I'm pulling a favour from a mate who works in a metal work shop to see if I can get a washer for my speedo made up. (got the front wheel off, found the problem; one sodding washer, can't get the washer as a part on it's own (new speedo gearbox = $160 anyone?)) haven't had time to go into the shop so been I've bikeless for about a week now much suck.

Also got myself some bungy cords so Toto can have his back

Well i've asked for the day off work, but am still waiting to hear back from them.

I got me a new helmet and a pair of pants today, so i'm good to go in the gear department. Just have to make my mind up about my tyres.

Long days for my knees on the CBR but then rest stops every 150km while people gas up might make it survivable. Been wanting to do Coro and East cape for soooo long so doing both would kick total arse.
I too would love to do this ride but i don't have enough brownie points. If you can get a day pass I'll be keen to do the coro loop, maybe even join the whole group on the friday and come back via kopu instead of going down to whakatane.

Gettin shipped down to christchurch tomorrow, then off to rotorua in a couple of weeks, so looking less and less like i'll be able to squeeze this one in.

Barely been able to ride at all lately, my poor girl is feeling neglected
Mabye i should go sit on her and go "brmm.... BBBBRRRRRMMMMMMM..." for a while

I do that anyway when I'm riding
So going to look for an after-market exhaust on the next bike , then special effects wont be needed

I bought a Koso digital speedo from CycleTreads for $107 for my Motard last year. Apart from being a digital speedo with cool blue LCD and neon lights and so cheap and waterproof, it also had heaps of other fancy features such as lap timers, 0-100kph recorder, max speed etc etc.

    You know what I'd do!!

Got my cast off today boys! Turns out I just chipped a piece of a bone in my wrist rather than breaking it completely. I'm still looking at a solid 4 weeks to get back to 100% - but let's see how it feels in 10 days time...!!!!!

    Err... ermm..

This ride is looking less and less likely for me as time goes by..

I'm still in for now but I may pull out fairly close to the event, there's some screwed up things happening round my end of life. I shall keep you posted, I know how brillaint I am to ride with.
