Fork seals for Hyosung GT250R '06

    Hey there

Does anyone know where I can get fork seals for this bike, and if so, what sort do you need to get? The last bike shop I spoke to said that they needed to order them in so I'm just curious as to where you order them from.

Sorry if this is a bit of a n00b question, haven't much experience with this type of thing.

    Cheers

    Graham.

The left one is dodgy and keeps going on me....I've no idea why, it's always on the left side...I think there is something wrong with the fork and I'm going to get a guy I know with a good reputation to take a look at it as well as change them but I need to get hold of the fork seals first.....

It's a pain in the arse but it's gotta be done

Stones dont check the vintage of a bike before they put marks on the fork tubes.

There will be a scratch/chip/dent somewhere on the fork tube, that is causing it to leak when ever replaced. 2000 grit emery paper will take care of it so they stop blowing.

Two options I can think of. TSS are the Wellington Hyosung dealers and will likely get them pretty quick.

Or, you could get the sizes for them, and take that to any shop and get after market ones.

The after market ones aren't very good quality, but I dunno how good the standard ones in the Hyobag are either.

If you are near a Suzuki dealer, I use SV650 fork seals in my stunt bike cos they are better than the Vesra ones, and cheaper than the Yamaha ones.

If you call TSS they will give you the dimensions you require for them, and prices for stock and vesra items.
